About This Venue
Founded in 1993, Collaborative Arts Project 21 (CAP21) is an off-Broadway theatre company with one of the nation's premiere musical theatre conservatories. CAP21 dedicates itself to the creation of new work, the development of new talent and the building of new audiences. These three critical and distinct artistic components drive the entertainment industry in the 21st Century. Since 1993, CAP21 has presented, developed and/or produced over 160 new works by nearly 250 playwrights, lyricists, and composers. Additionally, CAP21 has trained over 800 professional actors, 80% of whom have gone on to professional work on and off-Broadway, in regional theatres, on national tours, television and film. Visit THE SHOP, CAP 21's performance space, for an upcoming reading, professional production, Conservatory show or other event!
